01 Acceptance of terms
These terms govern your use of alaw.sa, owned by Dr. Abdulkarim bin Ahmed Al-Shehri Law Group (“the Firm”). By using the website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
02 Content is not legal advice
Articles, insights and all other content on the website are general information for awareness purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied on to make decisions about a specific matter; every case has its own circumstances, and laws are subject to change.
We recommend obtaining specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action based on what you read here.
03 Formation of a lawyer–client relationship
Browsing the website or contacting us through its forms, by email or via WhatsApp does not create a lawyer–client relationship. That relationship arises only after a conflict-of-interest check has been cleared and both parties have signed a written services agreement.
Until then, please do not send confidential information or documents about your case through the website.
04 Consultations and appointments
- A consultation request made through the website is a preliminary request and does not oblige the Firm to accept the engagement.
- The free initial consultation, where offered, is intended for a preliminary assessment of the matter and is subject to availability and to the outcome of a conflict-of-interest check.
- Fees and scope of work for each engagement are set out in its own services agreement.
05 Acceptable use
When using the website, you agree not to:
- Use it for any purpose that violates the laws in force in Saudi Arabia.
- Submit false or misleading information, or impersonate another person.
- Attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems, disrupt it, or transmit malicious software.
- Collect the website’s data or content by automated means without written permission.
06 Intellectual property
All website content, including text, designs, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to the Firm and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view it and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, republish or modify it without the Firm’s prior written consent.
07 External links
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as Google Maps, WhatsApp and social media platforms. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
08 Limitation of liability
We strive to keep the website’s information accurate and up to date, but it is provided “as is” without any warranty. To the extent permitted by law, the Firm is not liable for any damage arising from use of the website, reliance on its content, or inability to access it.
09 Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent judicial authorities in the Kingdom have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
10 Changes to these terms
The Firm may amend these terms at any time; changes take effect from the date they are posted on this page. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept it.
